Training procedure walkthrough January 10, 2023 - 11:17am

1. Connect the right person

Connect VIU animal care team and ensure VIU has resources to host the research.

2. Submit Animal User protocol

All animal that is planned to use in the research has to approval by Animal care committee to ensure the design of the experiment has meet the standard prior of staring the project.

3. Complete CCAC Online Ethics

The Canadian Council for Animal Care (CCAC) requires all personnel who work with animals in teaching and research at VIU to complete the Experimental Animal User Training Program.

We are experimenting here at CREATE with a new online program and event. We asked for 'Virtual Interactive' posters that are hosted online via a third party site. Please let us know if you use any other web resources to create virtual posters. Thanks!

Hi folks, thanks so much for volunteering to adjudicate a virtual 10-minute presentation section at CREATE. There are 6 items for you to consider for each presentation. For each student, all 6 items are listed with the 'standard expectation'. If the presentation exceeded the standard it is considered under the 'Glows' section, if there are some areas that need work it is considered under the 'Grows' section. you may comment accordingly.
