We would like to invite all faculty with an interest pursuing COVID19 research to a Zoom meeting to share their project ideas in hopes of identifying synergies and collaborative opportunities. We will answer questions about the special VIURAC COVID 19 Call for Proposals and share a list of other COVID research funding opportunities. Platform studies explores the explosive proliferation of Internet organizations such as Facebook and what it means for social, cultural, political and economic life today. This new field of inquiry has largely focused on the platformization of Euro-American and Asian lifeworlds while often ignoring especially indigenous voices and experiences. We challenge Platform Studies to be more inclusive accounting for experiences such as those that we encountered during our ethnography of digital transformations in Solomon Islands. |

Join this session to learn about the process of writing and publishing case studies for education purposes. Examples of case study publications will be shared and an innovative model of case study publications done by the World Leisure Centre of Excellence will be profiled. Participants will leave with the resources and inspiration they need to create their own case study publications. |
